Hi again! It’s been a while!

I’ve been hard at work on the game, focusing primarily on creating story content, which unfortunately isn’t included in the demo yet. However, I still found time to make a few exciting additions, especially for those looking to replay it.

For a quick summary of the patch, version 1.9.5 introduces:

• A new starter monster: Drakelet
• The Bestiary system (similar to a Pokédex)
• A way to revisit tutorials
• The first version of the game’s shiny system, which I’m calling Aberrants
• Various bug fixes

Now, here are the details of these additions:

• Drakelet: A versatile bruiser monster with neat abilities, capable of using a variety of glyphs. It learns its signature move at level 5. Drakelet can be obtained by answering the quiz with a combination of lawful and thoughtful responses.

• Bestiary System: This is the first version of the Bestiary system, so it’s still a work in progress. Some monsters’ entries are not finalized yet, but it’s functional! You can access it through the journal.

• Tutorial Menu: I’ve added a menu where players can revisit all tutorials. Like the Bestiary, the tutorial menu is accessible through the journal, which also contains the quest menu (though quests are not in the game yet).
• Aberrant (Shiny) System: This is an early version of the shiny system, so feedback is welcome! Each monster has a few alternative color palettes that can be found in the wild. Most monsters currently have only one aberrant form, and some don’t have any yet. The odds of encountering an aberrant are calculated as (number of aberrant forms)/1000. For most monsters, this means a 0.1% chance, though I’m open to adjusting this based on feedback.
